Diabetes

Type 2 diabetes is a common disease. It is caused by impaired insulin production in the pancreas, so that sugars have difficulty reaching the body’s cells to nourish them. The vast majority of diabetics have this type. The disease usually breaks out after the age of 40 but is also present in children and adolescents because of obesity. In women, the disease may break out following childbirth diabetes. The disease reduces life expectancy by 10 years.

Common symptoms include increased thirst and hunger, but sometimes weight loss because the body utilizes fat layers instead of sugars. There is frequent urination, vaginal infections in women, great tiredness, numbness and itching in the feet, wounds that do not heal, blurred vision. In abnormal blood glucose levels, there is fog of consciousness and low blood pressure leading to fainting.

Possible complications from high blood sugar include the risk of blindness and kidney failure to the point of necrosis that requires amputation of the limbs. 6 percent of the world’s population suffers from this disease and women are at higher risk. The World Health Organization has declared diabetes a global epidemic.

The most common drug treatment is metformin – a drug that improves the ability of the body’s cells to absorb sugar into them. In more severe cases, insulin injections are required once a day or more, after meals.

Diet is a significant factor in the risk of type 2 diabetes. Food and drinks containing sugar or trans fat open a gate for her. Modern life makes a person prefer simple carbohydrates to complex carbohydrates, fast food, which causes obesity. The genetic factor also influences significantly, but our lifestyle plays a huge and great role in the development of the disease, and I will expand on that.

The intention of this article is to prevent the need for drug treatment, since antidiabetic drugs also have side effects such as difficulty to the kidneys, and defeat the disease using the tools under our control, which are lifestyle. We must take care of appropriate nutrition, which will also help reach the desired weight, and acquire tools that will help cope with life’s pressures, interpersonal frictions, tensions, storms, worries. These are all food for disease, and I deal with their prevention.

So what do we do?

I am Ayla Jahn, a therapist for years in my clinic in Moshav Nordia for women and men coping with outbreaks of diseases, which are triggered and even increased due to pressure. The connection between body and mind is known and will be expanded on in a separate article. A healthy mind and one healthy body are. Man is a mind-body entity and each side of the equation influences the other.

It’s not easy to deal with diabetes 2, change dietary habits, play sports, avoid stress, but that’s what I’m all about. Through conversations, meditations and guided imagery, the patient reaches the inner realms of self-healing, which lead to imparting habits of life, nutrition and sports. Tools that lead to the excretion of substances that heal the body from within itself. The patient learns to meditate and guided imagery wherever he is, thought creates reality, imagine that you will recover and it will happen, and if you also need a reinforcement talk, I am by your side in the clinic, in the middle of a green moshav in the heart of the Sharon, as well as my consultants who will accompany you every step of your exciting recovery process.

This website, which contains a series of recordings of 10 meditations for dealing with diabetes, was recorded by my voice. Every week you will be asked to hear a new and relaxing recording. Close your eyes and activate your imagination. The blood will flow to the fingertips, the numbness will disappear and the lungs will fill with fresh air.
