Psoriasis

The onset of the disease is attributed to traumatic events in the digestive system (such as antibiotic drugs that cause the body to fail in the process of digestion of certain proteins),

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease in which skin cells are replaced at an increased rate because they are identified as an invader. The affected skin is covered with red-purple spots and rough white scales.

In addition to the aesthetic hazard and the great discomfort, about a third of psoriasis patients also develop arthritis, which can lead to disability.

The disease has several occurrences and the most common is manifested by dandruff that appears in the area of the joints, scalp, knees and nails. Other types also appear in the inner areas and folds in the armpit, groin and navel.

or due to gastrointestinal failures whether due to intestinal diseases or due to a diet high in animal fat, excessive alcohol consumption or foods rich in sugars.

Psoriasis is not a contagious disease, and there is no fear of contact with a sick person. The direct cause of the disease is unknown and the reasons for its formation are usually based on statistical findings without a medical-causal connection.

The disease occurs in 3% of the world’s population. It erupts mainly in two periods of life – ages 20 – 30 or ages 50 – 60. The rate of the disease varies from person to person, it can disappear for a period of several months to years, after treatment, and recur again.

In mild cases, treatment is topical with the help of corticosteroid ointments and vitamins. In more severe cases by drug therapy. There are a number of drug treatments, but they have serious side effects, such as suppression of the immune system, impaired liver, kidney, and bone marrow functions.

Another treatment is exposure to ultraviolet light or daily exposure to sunlight, such as visits to the Dead Sea. This treatment is effective for a short period of time, and after a few months its effect wears off.

Psoriasis can erupt or worsen due to stressful situations. In Israel, there have been cases in which soldiers contracted the disease due to emotional stress during their military service and were subsequently recognized as disabled IDF soldiers with up to 20% disability, therefore, a critical component in coping with the disease is the transition to a calm and peaceful lifestyle. The turbulent human soul affects the body and the disease erupts.

So what do we do?

My name is Ayla Jahn, I am a therapist using guided imagery and meditation. My patients acquire many different techniques in order to achieve peace of mind within the peace of mind. A short daily meditation can prevent drug treatment, which, as mentioned, is harmful to the body. From my experience in the clinic, after several months of treatment and guidance, remission of the disease occurs and it disappears for a long period.

In my clinic in the green Moshav Nordia, the calm atmosphere, the clear air and the exercises performed by the patients under my guidance, help them reach the peace of mind they need for healing. The patient acquires tools in the clinic to avoid stress, and to deal with them in a calm way when they happen.

For psoriasis sufferers, I offer a series of ten dedicated meditations, which change once a week, which the patient can perform anytime, anywhere, and even several times a day. You can also schedule one-on-one appointments with me in my clinic to receive guidance or meditate with personal guidance, as well as with my counselors who will accompany you every step of your exciting recovery process.
